Whoaa!!!

There has been a huge flow of new reader on my blog today, thanks to Matt and Brad.  I suppose it will be crazy like that for a few more hours!!

To every new reader, I hope your first visit won't be your last.  I really enjoy seeing new people on my blog and I hope you will take some time to express yourself on the various posts on my blog.  Don't worry if you comment on an old post, I will read them all and probably answer to most of them.

I want to make a special request to all the "straight" readers.  Please please please express yourself.  Your input can surely make my blog being a place where we can learn more from the gay world from the inside, but also from the outside!

Thank you everyone
JF

  2. *Laughs* I knew as soon as I saw Matt and Brad's blog introducing you, there would be a TON of readers coming to you.
These two guys are incredible, and I've enjoyed their blog, and I'm glad to have found yours through them.

  3. Enjoying your blog. Just caught up on your old posts. You'll find that special someone one day. Don't forget to check out local gay groups. I have a friend that found his partner of 2 plus years through two groups they belonged to (choir and running). You'll also get a chance to have some gay friends even if nothing romantic happens. Like some of the other readers I came from Matt and Brad blog. So keep blogging and I'll keep reading.

  4. I've been reading some of your other posts and think I'm going to like your blog. I read what Matt and Brad wrote and thought I'd check out your blog.

I don't usually leave a lot of comments because I doubt I have a whole lot to say but I'm trying to get over that. I like reading what other gay guys are writing about and Matt and Brad are about the same age as me so I have learned a lot from them. I'm not out to that many people but want to keep getting more confident so I can do this. I like to read how others go through all this. I hope you keep writing about what you're going through because I learn a lot that way. Take care. Danny

    1. Hi Danny, we're all here to help each other. I am not out to so many people neither, but I'm working on it. I'm glad I can help somehow.

    1. Hi Susan, gee I hope you didn't get a headache for reading so much!! It's a sweet compliment that you said I'm very special... thanks!! But can you tell me how so?? I mean, I know I have good qualities and I'm trying to be the best person I can, but I have never considered myself being very special. I'm glad you joined!

    2. You said it yourself, JF. You are are special because you are trying to be the best YOU that you can. Not everyone thinks that way. When reading through your posts, you showed us this over and over. It was very emotional for me in a good way. That's why I wish you so much fulfillment in your journey.

  6. Hi JF

Just adding to your list of new readers :) been reading all of your posts and just wanted to encourage you on this new journey.
I've been out to my family and friends for just under a year and I'm still trying to find my feet! There have been ups and downs but I've learnt so much about myself and wouldn't change a thing because I'm finally happy :)

So good luck and I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Big shout out from South Africa! :)

  8. Hi JF,

Bit late to post - but I wanted to say that it is so great that young guys like you and Matt & Brad are being a informal guide to gay boys (and their parents too). With today's information overload it is difficult to pick and choose good and honest influences.

What you said was true - people who are close are sometimes lost on how to behave or treat when people come out. But many of them face problem *because* they DON'T want to do something which is hurtful - they too are finding footing with this new information :)

I hope you continue to write about your journey :)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will do a separate post out of my answer, as it is an important subject.
